Biography

Damian Hermann is Executive Director of The Catholic Initiative and a Trustee of Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart in Chicago. With more than 20 years in Catholic education, he previously served as Head of School at Academy of the Sacred Heart in Michigan and Regional Superintendent of Manhattan Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of New York. He specializes in organizational transformation, leadership development, governance, strategic planning, philanthropy, and mission-driven education.
