Mark Pulte

Chairman

Mark Pulte serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Catholic Initiative. He also serves as Vice President, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Chief Investment Officer at the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. He is the founder, president, and chief executive officer of Mark Timothy Incorporated, a Florida-based luxury home-building company. Drawing on his deep expertise in building, he led the restoration of the historic chapel at Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth, MI, ensuring its preservation and long-term sustainability. Through this work, he has developed a strong appreciation for preserving sacred spaces, ensuring their architectural integrity while making them sustainable for future generations. This understanding of both craftsmanship and long-term stewardship informs his approach to The Catholic Initiative, where restoration is not just about preserving history but creating a lasting foundation for the future of the Church.

In addition to his business and philanthropic leadership, Mark serves as a Director for Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth, MI, and The Inn at Stonecliffe on Mackinac Island, MI. He is also a member of the Architectural School Advisory Board at the University of Notre Dame, contributing his expertise to the next generation of architects and developers.

Mark resides between Boca Raton, FL and Bloomfield Hills, MI. He is happily married to Julie Pulte, who shares in his passion for Catholic philanthropy. He is the proud father of 6 children and grandfather to 7 kids and counting!
